RODEO!
Since the boys have started really enjoying the zoo and seeing different animals, we thought it would be a really good year to take them to the rodeo. They're not quite ready to sit through the actual rodeo but we thought they'd have a good time looking at all the animals at the livestock show. Aunt Laura had come to visit from Chicago so she and I took the boys on Sunday morning. It had been raining so it wasn't super crowded when we got there. We rode a train (a tram) from the parking lot to the gate of the livestock show and then headed to the arena to the kids area. On the way there, we walked by the vendors who were showing cars, trucks and tractors. This may have been more fun for them than the animals. When we finally pulled them away from the trucks and the tractors, we went and saw all the kids' exhibits: Bessie the cow, hatching chicks, bunnies, newborn piglets, cows and bees. We also spent some time in the petting zoo feeding goats, deer and even a wallaby. It was great because it didn't start getting crowded until we were about to leave so we were actually able to see everything that we wanted to.

Papaw and Grandma Sharon sent costumes for the boys for Valentine's Day. They now each have a Superman, a Spiderman and a Batman to choose from. The day they came in the mail, the boys had to put all three of them on and of course, play in the box they came in too. They love them!

BUSY WEEKEND
BUSY WEEKEND
After naps, we were outside the rest of the afternoon. Dave worked on our deck project and the boys played in the sandbox. After supper, Dave built a fire and let the boys roast marshmallows. Their favorite part was blowing on the marshmallows after they caught on fire. Harrison ate a couple but Hunter pretty much just ate the raw ones.
It was a BEAUTIFUL weekend - about 75 and very little humidity. It was a perfect weekend to be outside and we were - A LOT! Saturday afternoon we went to a 4th birthday party for Livvy and Mia who we met through the Multiples Club when all the kids were babies. The party was at a little "farm" outside of Houston. There was so much stuff for the kids to do - pony rides (which the boys would not do), lots of tractors to ride, a train, animals, a play set, sandboxes and so much more. Of course with all the stuff there was to do, where did the boys spend most of their time? On the play set and the sandbox. Oh well, they had a great time.

Sunday morning was another beautiful day so we headed to Brazos Bend State Park to see if we could see any aligators. We walked around one of the lakes there and saw a bunch. A couple were a little too close to the path for my liking so we walked quickly past those. The boys had more fun climbing on the fallen trees and playing on the playground than they did looking at the aligators.

CHRISTMAS 2012
CHRISTMAS 2012
We had several Christmas celebrations this year. We did Christmas at Thanksgiving with Grandma Sharon, Papaw and Aunt Deidra, Uncle Brian, Avery and Zander. Christmas Eve, we were at Tami's with her parents and Ginny's family. Christmas morning, Santa came and we opened all the presents that Grandma Fosler, Uncle Dean, Aunt Laura and Uncle Larry's family sent. Then we went to Ginny's house for Christmas dinner. It was a busy few days but it was lots of fun.
Palo Duro Canyon at Thanksgiving. This is as
close as we get to a family picture.
Cousins: Harrison, Zander and Hunter

Christmas pirates? Or Superheroes?
All dressed up for Christmas Eve church service.
Santa brought Harrison a "big brown castle."
Santa brought Hunter a "dinosaur castle."
